Scented candles are all the rage these days – once you light one, it’s the most beautiful piece of décor, and an efficient room freshener at the same time. And lavender, with its enchanting aroma in addition to all its benefits for relieving stress and promoting sleep, can be an automatic choice for a scented candle.
We have shortlisted 10 lavender candles from a pile of samples that we tested and rated them with a hands-on approach so you can easily choose one. Here are the factors we have considered:
Wax – While paraffin is easier to come by, a soy or beeswax candle can be worth the extra penny as they don’t emit harmful pollutants. On the flip side, paraffin holds scents better than soy.
Odor elimination – A good candle can override the smell of an overflowing laundry or a cat litter that’s overdue.
Aesthetics – If we are being honest, a minimalistic, elegant look is what draws us in when we are buying candles. They make nice gifts too.
Eco-friendliness – A candle that comes in a glass jar, or any recyclable container would be a greener option, especially if it uses soy or beeswax.
